Abode laundry liquid is an Australian made and owned product that has been formulated specifically for people who have sensitivities and need to only use natural laundry products in their home.

Each formula in the Abode laundry liquid range is a high performance formula that really does work, they’re biodegradable, grey water safe and are suitable to use in both top and front load washing machines.

What’s in the Abode laundry liquid range?

The range consists of 2 scented laundry liquids, lavender and mint plus blue mallee eucalyptus and also an unscented formula. The Abode Zero is unscented for sensitive noses and also a baby formula which is also unscented. They use a variety of food grade and natural ingredients plus essential oils in the scented versions. There’s no artificial fragrances. The ingredients used are water, soda ash, sodium citrate (food grade), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium coco sulphate, baking soda (food grade), alkylpolyglucosides (derived from corn, wheat and coconut) and essential oils. The range also has a wool wash which we only sell in a 1 litre bottle.

What ingredients are left out of Abode Laundry Liquid?

There’s no need for phosphates, zeolites, optical brighteners, artificial fragrances and harsh surfactants. All these ingredients have the potential to irritate sensitive skin, and Abode has created a high performance product that cleans your clothes without irritating your skin.

Do Abode make a baby laundry liquid?

Yes. There is a dedicated Abode baby laundry liquid. We sell this one in the 1 litre bottle and also the bulk 4 litre size. It’s the only laundry liquid we sell in the smaller size. It’s significantly more economical to buy this product in bulk.

Can you buy Abode Laundry Liquid in bulk?

Yes. In fact, we sell so many bulk bottles of Abode laundry liquid that we stopped selling the smaller sizes in everything but the Abode baby laundry liquid. Bulk sizes used to be 5 litre (or 5L) but the sizes were changed in 2022/23 to be 4 litres (or 4L). With our 10kg limit on orders, this means you can now get two bulk Abode cleaning products on to one order.

How much does it cost to ship bulk Abode laundry liquid?

Please understand that from a business perspective, we would be much better off if we just didn’t sell these products. They are heavy, low cost and take up a lot of room in our warehouse. When the stock arrives, it’s like a workout at the gym for the staff to unpack them and put them away. They have the lowest profit of anything in our store and they’re some of the most popular products. Even with the freight charges we charge, we subsidise freight in our store and when you buy these bulk cleaning products, we don’t make any money on them. They are in the store because our store owner has chemical sensitivities and she understands just how important it is for families to be able to wash their clothes without their families reacting to synthetic ingredients. There is a limit of 10kg per order, so you can get 2 of these on an order, but not much else. They weigh close to 5kg each once packed. It’s almost impossible to qualify for free shipping with bulk cleaning products and we do understand that the freight on these is high, but it’s the only way we can afford to keep them on our shelves for those who really need them.
