Cleaner Days are a zero waste, cruelty free, 100% vegan brand from Australia who have a range of both laundry and dishwasher sheets to save water being shipped around and to save the plastic bottles that are used in laundry products in particular from ever needing to exist.

In the past, the best option for plastic free laundry has either been powder in boxes or soap nuts. With the development in laundry sheets starting to take hold, we are happy to have found a brand that use natural ingredients and plant based natural enzymes to clean your clothes.

Not all laundry sheets are created equal. While they all might use the same concept of a pre-measured dose of detergent in a dissolvable sheet, many brands on the market are still made from synthetic ingredients and palm oil. Cleaner Days set out to tick all the ethical boxes we expect from brands to be on the shelf at Shop Naturally. Their packaging is all plastic free, they’re 100% plant based, there’s no animal testing with the final product or any of the ingredients used and they’re free from synthetic fragrance. Cheap synthetic fragrances used in mainstream cleaning products are a serious irritant for many, whether they’re an eco friendly option or not. Cleaner Days are infused with essential oils for a truly natural scent. They were the first sheet company to use natural essential oils.

Are Cleaner Days detergent sheets palm oil free?

Yes. The only surfactants used in these natural detergent sheets are made from coconuts.

Are Cleaner Days detergent sheets biodegradable?

The laundry sheets in the Cleaner Days range have OECD 301B certification which confirms they are made of a biodegradable material. The dishwasher sheets are still in the process of certification (as of April 2024 when we launched the range in our store.

How do I use the Cleaner Days laundry sheets

For front load machines, fold or tear the required number of sheets and place them in the dispenser drawer. You can also place them directly in the machine on top of your clothes, which is how they are best used with a top load machine. Use one sheet for small loads up to 5kg, 2 sheets for regular loads up to 8kg and 3 sheets for extra large loads or for heavily soiled laundry. You can also dissolve a partial or a full sheet for handwashing.

How do I use Cleaner Days dishwasher sheets?

Add 1 sheet to the bottom of your dishwasher or fold / tear into small pieces and place in the dispenser or the cutlery basket in your dishwasher. You can still use a Rinse Aid for spot free glassware.

How should I store my Cleaner Days sheets?

Because they dissolve in water and they’re biodegradable, once you get them home, keeping them dry is important. We recommend you store your sheets in an airtight container. If you have any of those little packets you get that absorb moisture, pop a couple in the container.
