Introducing People4Ocean Mineral Sunscreen
People4Ocean are a company with a mission to protect more than just your skin with their natural mineral sunscreen offering. Using reef safe zinc oxide instead of chemical protection, this Australian made sunscreen range is made with solar power and sustainable practises using plant based tubes. They also donate up to $1 with each purchase to reef projects in French Polynesia, Fiji, Seychelles and Mauritius.
Co-Founder Louise Lang is a reef scientist with a real passion for preserving our ocean reefs after childhood visits to the magnificent reefs in Mauritius. Co-Founder Austin Laing-Herbert is a coral scientist. With these origins, it's no wonder the safety of our reefs is just as important to the founders as the safety of the people who use it. It's a brand that has wellness, beauty, safety and the environment all intertwined.
The sunscreen products are made in partnership with LaGaia Unedited, Australian natural skin care specialists who have infused an aromatic blend of Australian botanicals in to the formula. It's truly a step above your average sunscreen with the choice of ingredients and their properties.
What's in the People4Ocean Sunscreen range
SPF30 Sunscreen - Water Resistant
With 3 hours water resistance, this face and body sunscreen goes on with a semi matte finish and uses beeswax to assist with protection while swimming and wearing this sunscreen. For those who find that natural sunscreens smell a little harsh, People4Ocean use essential oils of lavender, ylang ylang, patchouli, vetiver and geranium to give a warm fragrant note.
SPF50 Sunscreen - Vegan - Water Resistant - Kids 3 months+
Packed in a smaller tube, the SPF50 version says goodbye to beeswax and hello to candelilla wax to bring a vegan formula to the brand. This is their kids sunscreen and is suitable for ages 3 months and over. If you're sensitive to mineral sunscreens, this is suitable for sensitive skin and is also pregnancy friendly.
After Sun Solution
This 3 in 1 can be used as a moisturising gel, and after sun soothing mask or as an after shave. This gel contains soothing aloe to reduce skin inflammation whether it's caused from excessive sun, wind, snow or shaving. It is pH balanced and can help prevent skin peeling and to prolong your tan. Because of the water & aloe content, this formula does contain a lab derived preservative to avoid it growing harmful bacteria.
