The history of Ere Perez Lipstick
The history of Ere Perez Lipstick has been quite the evolution since we originally published this blog post back in 2014. They used to have one of the largest natural lipstick ranges in the country for any natural makeup brand in Australia, and a decade later, they don't have any. They have all been replaced by the Coco Lip Colour Crayons.
What used to be in the Ere Perez Lipstick range
The Ere Perez lipstick range was the biggest in the country at one stage. From full coverage to sheer coverage in a multitude of shades, you would be hard pressed not to find the shade you needed for any occasion. They were also known for (and still are known for) their multi-tasking colour products that can also be used on the cheeks and eyes.
Ere Perez Clever Carrot Cheek and Lip Balm
Available in three shades, these balms came in a compact case and are were tinted balm that can be used to soothe your lips and also apply a healthy glow to your cheeks. A great multi-purpose makeup item to keep in your handbag or take travelling with you. I was a smooth & creamy consistency and a little spreads a long way so this one was great value for money. It was based on olive oil, avocado oil and carrot oil. These were eventually replaced by the Carrot Colour Pot you see below which can be used on the lips, the cheeks and eyelids.
Ere Perez Moisturising Macadamia Lip Colour
Available in two earthy shades, the moisturising macadamia lip colour is formulated with castor oil, shea butter, macadamia oil & rosehip oil to not only give some colour to the lips, but to provide moisture to the lips and also to heal & soothe from the inclusion of the rosehip oil.
Ere Perez Natural Rosehip Oil Lipbar
Available in four shades, these vivid looking colours (on the screen) give just a hint of colour on the lips while adding a glossy sheen. They give a slightly darker & pouty look to your lips while adding nourishment from the inclusion of rosehip oil. The nude shade (right) is the bestseller and the purple shade on the right is suited really well to Asian toned skin although anyone can wear it.
Ere Perez Rich Olive Oil Lipstick
If you were looking for a traditional lipstick, this was it. The Rich Olive Oil Lipstick came in eight shades. They were rich, smooth and ultra-hydrating. They provided long lasting colour, condition lips and protect them from the elements. Buildable and rich, they offered full colour coverage but were impossible to make without plastic, so like the rest of the range, they were replaced with a multi-tasking plastic free option
Ere Perez Organic Sesame Lip Liner
Define the edges of your lips with this neutral browny pink shade sesame lip liner. It's not designed to match a lipstick colour, so there's just the one shade. Instead, it's designed to blend in to the natural shade of the lips and provide a subtle definition before you apply your lipstick.
Sesame Lip Liner is no longer in the range but has been replaced by the Acai Lip Pencil in 3 shades quite similar to what's above. They are a creamy formula in 100% plastic free packaging in 3 matte shades.
Ere Perez Natural Beetroot Cheek & Lip Tint
Available in three shades, this roll-on beetroot cheek & lip tint is another perfect multi-tasking product to provide a 'flushed' glow of colour to make rosy cheeks or add colour. Once applied, it's waterproof. The depth of the colour you obtain depends on whether you apply just a little and spread or whether you provide a more intense colour by adding more.
While this product is still in the Ere Perez range in 2024, it stopped selling for us with other products being favoured, so we have removed it from our own range.
