Stainless Steel Snack Pots - Happy Sparrow vs Ever Eco vs Lunchbots

Stainless steel snack pots are great way to keep sauces, dips and liquid dressings away from the rest of the food in your lunch box until it's time to eat.Two popular brands in our lunch boxes category in the past have been Ever Eco and Lunchbots. We now have own our home brand with a bento box and snack pot in the range, so we're adding it in the mix of our original comparison. Note, the Lunchbots are no longer available for sale in our store.

As you can see from that quick snapshot, the biggest differences in these stainless steel snack pots are:-

1. PRICE - the Ever Eco are better value for money
2. LID - if you want all stainless steel, there's only one choice
3. VOLUME - Ever Eco is 1/3 larger again

The reason these dipping and snack pots are so popular is that our bento box lunch boxes are not leakproof. If you want to put yoghurt or a salad dressing or dipping sauce inside one of these bento boxes, it's going to run out and through your bag unless it's secured in a leakproof pot first.

There are also some shipping logistics involved with all three products. Ever Eco is an Australian brand and available through a major distributor. They get shipped from their point of manufacture directly in to Australia. Lunchbots are an American brand, one of the first stainless steel lunch boxes on the market, and certainly the first we ever sold. They are amazing quality, always have been. They get shipped from their point of manufacture to the USA and then we import them directly from the USA by air freight. The Happy Sparrow is our own brand and we buy these in bulk directly from the factory. The difference in price of these three brands has more to do with the logistics of getting them in through the roller door in our warehouse than the quality of the product.
