If soaps could receive Michelin stars, this one probably would. It’s based on Ashbolt Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a strong and dynamic drop from a family farm in the Coal River Valley. Traditionally, Beauty and the Bees use local ingredients whenever possible, and the olive soap is no exception. This olive oil has been spotted in the world’s leading restaurants, it’s our pick for beauty care too, with its unique ability to cleanse the skin while locking in moisture. Combined with wild Leatherwood honey and yummy plant butters, this olive oil soap will soften and nourish the hardest working hands (we’re looking at you, chefs) while being gentle enough for the face.

The Ashbolt family has been tending their slow growing olive groves in the Coal River Valley for over 30 years, giving Tasmanian olive oil an international reputation. Beauty & the Bees love their cold pressed extra virgin olive oil; a rich, grassy and peppery expression of Tassie’s fertile soils and cool temperate climate. Olive oil has the unique ability to purify the skin while retaining all its natural moisture, and is an age old remedy for dryness, eczema and cradle cap.

For gently cleansed skin that stays soft, supple and moisturised.

Most people associate olive oil soap with castile soap. While olive oil is quite often the core ingredient of a pure castile soap, other oils can be used, and olive oil can be used in a soap without it strictly being a castile soap too. In this instance, olive oil is used with other nourishing ingredients used in the rest of the Beauty and the Bees soap range like Leatherwood Honey and Beeswax.
