Our compostable and biodegradable dish cloths are made from a blend of plant cellulose and cotton. They are robust and can be machine washed or put in the dishwasher to keep them sanitary. Wash and reuse for up to 6 months to save around 17 rolls of paper towel which can cost over $50.
Use your cloth to do the dishes, wipe down benches, bathrooms or to mop up spills. They are super absorbent.

ABOUT THE ARTIST - Flowers is an original watercolour work by South African artist Tumi K Steyn. Tumi is the daughter of a friend of my mothers. My mother and Tumi's mother Maria became friends in an online CFS support group for parents who had children with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to support each other. This was in the mid 1990's and they remained friends until the very end when we lost my mother in June 2021. Tumi is an accomplished illustrator with many book titles on her portfolio. Tumi painted this work for my mother when she was in hospital and it was at the foot of her bed for several weeks. This drawing was kindly gifted to our collection and is the catalyst and inspiration for the whole cloth range at The Happy Sparrow. Follow Tumi K Steyn on Instagram.
