Hluru Wind Chimes Jupiter
Bamboo resonating box, 9 metal tines inside. Soft & peaceful tone. Perfectly tuned.
Our wind chimes are not like something you'll find in a garden store. They are finely crafted, perfectly tuned musical instrument that's gentle to the ears and creates a subtle and soothing tone as the wind catches on the pendulum bob and gently strikes the metal tines inside. The precise tuning technology used to create these wind chimes means they have clear and rich overtones that vibrate in harmony with each other.
What makes these wind chimes different is the cylindrical bamboo resonance chamber. You'll be used to standard wind chimes being metal tubes that swing about and not only hit the pendulum bob, but in a bigger wind, they'll start hitting each other and get tangled up and creating a harsh 'metal on metal' sound. Our wind chimes are nothing like that. Inside you will find 9 thin metal tines that are held in place on their base and these tines do not move. The pendulum bob gently taps them as the breeze moves it and the sweet and gentle sound that is made is resonated through the bamboo chamber and to your ears. If you have found other wind chimes annoying in the past, these will be music to your ears.
TUNING - B D F A B F B D F
THE MUSIC CHORD EXPLAINED - For those who are musical, these are the notes of the Dm6 chord with the lowest note being the 6th (the B), followed by D F A & B together, which are the Dm6 notes in their root position, then the 3rd note of the chord (F) is featured twice more gives the chimes that mellow minor sound and they're joined by the root note D and the 6th note again (which features 3 times in total)
If you also own a tongue drum, we can teach you some things to play along with your chimes. These 3 notes are also 4 of the 5 notes of the pentatonic scale.
THE PENDULUM BOBS - your wind chimes come with 2 different bobs, and they are not attached for transport. Please flip through the additional photographs to see how to attach them. One is for indoors and one is for outdoors. There are also 4 x paper pendulums that you can attach instead to catch the wind differently.
WHERE DO I HANG MY WIND CHIMES? - Your wind chimes can be hung indoors or outdoors. If you choose to hang them outdoors we recommend you keep them undercover or bring them in after you relax outside. Like all raw bamboo and timber products, you can oil them from time to time so they don't dry out.

The audio only portions of the videos were recorded at The Music Cellar in a professional music studio using industry quality recording equipment and a professional music engineer to ensure 100% authenticity in sound quality.
