It has a leakproof screw lid with a tight fitting cap to open the cafe cap hole to drink through, although we do recommend you keep this upright and don't let it roll around in a handbag with electronics. There is a rubber ring on the base so it's not noisy when you place it down on a table or desk and a durable powdercoat painted exterior. Handwashing is recommended to keep the painted exterior in tact.
