The Oasis Stainless Steel Food Flask is a double wall vacuum insulated stainless steel food flask that can keep food hot or cold. It is narrower than our insulated food pod and has the same diameter at the top and the bottom.
Starting from the top, the leakproof lid has a sturdy solid carry handle, is bpa free plastic on the interior and has a silicone valve to make it easier to get the lid off when filled with hot food. Sometimes lids without the silicone valve allow a vacuum to build up inside and make it very difficult to open. The silicone valve and the sturdy handle mean this one is easy to open.
Inside you will find a 100ml bpa free condiment container with a lid held in place with a silicone seal. It's leak resistant but not 100% leakproof. If you place liquid inside and shake it about and hold it upside down, a small amount of liquid may spill out, but will still stay inside the outsider container. The condiment container is approx 2.5cm tall and the flask can be used with or without the condiment container.

GETTING THE BEST OUT OF THE INSULATION - for hot food, preheat the container with boiling water from the kettle for 5 minutes and ensure food is hot when you put it in. Your food pod will work best when it's full. You can expect to hold around half your temperature at the advertised insulation period if your food pod is preheated, full, adn the lid isn't removed during this time. For cold food, pre chill the food pod in the fridge (lid off) and ensure food is cold when it goes in to get maximum insulation.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS - hand wash and allow to completely dry before putting the lid on.
